An Integrative approach in psychotherapy is a flexible approach that combines elements from different schools of psychotherapy to create a tailored treatment plan for each individual. It aims to integrate various aspects of a person's experience, including their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and body, to foster a sense of wholeness and self-awareness.

  • Psychodynamic Exploring the impact of past experiences and unconscious processes. I blend aspects of Transactional Anylsis (TA), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT).

  • Cognitive Behavioural Approaches (CBT): Identifying and changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. I blend aspects of CBT and third wave approaches such as Compassion (CFT) and mindfulness based practices.

  • Humanistic: Focusing on the client's unique perspective and experiences. I blend aspects of Gestalt, Person Centred and Creative work.

  • Trauma Informed Therapies: EMDR, IFS, EFIT Parts work.
