How I Work
A Compassionate Space to Explore, Reflect & Grow
Integrative Therapy for Emotional Healing & Growth
🎥 A short welcome video — an introduction to how therapy with me feels.
How I Work
As an Integrative Therapist and Wellbeing Coach, I blend approaches that support both deep emotional healing and practical, lasting change. Every client is different, so together we’ll shape therapy around your needs — not the other way around.
Many of my clients come to therapy because they want to understand themselves better, feel calmer and more confident, or build healthier relationships. Therapy offers a reflective space to slow things down, explore emotions, and begin to make sense of what’s underneath.
My Approach
I believe meaningful change happens when therapy combines emotional exploration with practical tools that support everyday life.
My work integrates:
-
Humanistic, Emotion-Focused & Compassion-Focused Therapy: to support deep processing, self-acceptance, and emotional balance.
-
Solution-Focused & Cognitive-Behavioural Approaches — including CBT, ACT, DBT, MBCT, IPT, and Gottman tools: to build practical skills for resilience, stress management, and relationship growth.
Clients often describe my approach as calm, grounded, and gently restorative — especially supportive for those struggling with low self-worth, emotional overwhelm, or relationship difficulties.
What Clients Say
“It feels like the best of both worlds — deep emotional work, balanced with hopeful, practical tools I could finally put into action.”
My Story
My path into this work began with my own lived experiences and a passion for personal development, which grew into professional training and practice.
With a background in coaching, support work, and counselling across community and justice settings, I now focus on private practice — helping people find clarity, resilience, and connection in their lives. Today, I work with adults online throughout the UK and abroad, and offer limited in-person EMDR sessions in Dorset.
